Yoga is a way of life. We unroll our mats to practice.
The yoga practice provides a time and place for self-reflection and discovery.
It helps us create focus, purpose, calm and positive energy in our everyday lives.
You are what you eat
Pause. Do your really want that ice cream? or the burger and fries?
Think. How will you feel in 2 hours? How about in 20 years?
Consider an alternative. Just consider it. Re-consider the Standard American Diet (S.A.D.) which may not be as nourishing as you were once taught.
Eating simple, healthy and vegetarian foods that are easy to digest have a positive effect on the mind and body, as well as on the environment and other living beings. Try to avoid processed foods and grains, as well as excessive sugars, dairy and animal products. In America, we have become accustomed to over-eating. Take time to enjoy your food: turn off the electronics, put down your mobile phone and sit down to eat, chew slowly and avoid distractions while eating, notice the smell and appearance of foods, enjoy your environment and perhaps the people or pets dining with you.

Every moment of every day, you have another opportunity to make a choice.
Will you choose something nurturing or destructive? Your thoughts, words, actions, habits and character become your destiny.
It is never too late to make a positive change.
Ready to give it a try? Great! Here we go:
Find a comfortable seated position.
Start with one deep breath in, followed by a cleansing breath out.
Use the breathe to reset your attention and presence.
Notice what is happening in your Body and in your Mind.
Let go of fear and judgment. Just be present.
Breathe it all in; now Exhale, let everything go.
Allow the breath to be your guide, releasing tension, anxiety and stress.
Be open to discovering a deeper connection to the Universe and to your Inner Self.
Now think of something you desire.
Close your eyes and allow yourself to visualize making that desire a reality.
Take a few minutes to sit with that vision.
When you feel ready, open your eyes.
Breathe in; Exhale out.
Congratulations! You just took the first step towards changing in your life.
Listen to your body
Tune in to your body.
Connect with your breath.
Notice how you feel at different times.
Become intuitive.
