About Jill

Jill has been studying and practicing yoga for more than twenty years and teaching since 2013. Over these years, she has learned to apply the wisdom of the ancient yogic teachings to our stressful and over-extended modern lifestyle.

People typically come to Jill curious, often nervous, about trying this “yoga thing”. With seeming effortlessness, Jill eases tense and anxious students into a yoga practice customized to meet their highly individualized needs- all while they confess their insecurities:

  • I’m not flexible. I can’t even reach my toes.

  • I can’t balance on one foot. My coordination is terrible and I’m sure I’ll fall.

  • My back hurts and my ankles are weak.

  • I’m overweight. My body is not built for yoga.

Drawing from her experience in the ever-evolving modern yoga scene, she has guided hundreds of students to feel physically transformed and mentally refreshed. 

Through regular, consistent practice, her students discover more calm, more space in their lives, and they often do touch their toes for the first time in years.

When not on a yoga mat, you will likely find Jill on the run with her three children and two dogs. As it relates to motherhood, she says, "my kids push my limits, expose my flaws and force me to question my judgment… Every. Single. Day.” The yogic teachings remind her to keep breathing and embrace every moment- the happy, the sad and the scary.
